There are numerous benefits of ginger in health issues and some of them are given below:

Morning sickness remedy:

It has been concluded through several studies that ginger is as effective as vitamin B6 in treating morning sickness. It is also a safe remedy for pregnant women to deal with morning sickness but it should not be given more than one gram.

Ginger for muscles pain:

Danish researchers have found that adding ginger in daily diets has eased muscle and joint pain, swelling, and stiffness for up to 63 percentage of achy people. The recommended dose for treating these problems is 1 teaspoon of dried ginger or 2 teaspoons of chopped ginger to meals daily. Anti-inflammatory properties of ginger are a powerful natural pain killer.

Indigestion and heartburn:

Mix thin strips of chopped ginger with salt and lemon juice. Store it in a jar and keep in the fridge. Include half a spoon of the same in your daily diets. It will relieve you from gas, heartburn, worms in the stomach and indigestion.

Motion sickness and nausea: 

A study has shown that ginger can treat nausea caused by pregnancy and chemotherapy. Take a small piece of ginger half an hour before travel to avoid motion sickness and nausea. Chewing of ginger can reduce nausea and vomiting. It can also treat sensation of nausea following surgery.

Prevention of diabetics:

A study on diabetic rats has found that those rats given ginger had a reduced incidence of diabetic nephropathy (kidney damage). Drinking a glass of water mixed with a spoon of ginger juice on an empty stomach in the morning would regulate your blood sugar level.

Colon and ovarian cancer treatment: 

A study at the University of Minnesota found that ginger may slow down the growth of colorectal cancer cells and also as per University of Michigan comprehensive cancer center has found through their research that ginger can destroy the ovarian cancer cell.

Menstrual cramp relief:

Use of ginger at the beginning of the menstrual period can reduce the symptoms of menstrual pain. In Chinese medicine, ginger tea with brown sugar is used to treat the menstrual cramp.

Ginger is beneficial for your heart. It helps to prevent clotting of blood and controls the cholesterol level. Daily consumption of ginger will provide ample of proteins, vitamins and essential oil. It is beneficial for a healthy heart. Some people may find it difficult to consume ginger in original form those can take the ginger supplement.
